Carl Sagan Quotes
Astronomer
Carl Sagan was astronomer from the United States
“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”— Carl Sagan
Sagan said this during his Cosmos series in 1980. He believed curiosity was not a weakness but the engine of everything. A kid from Brooklyn who saw the World of Tomorrow at the 1939 World's Fair at age five carried that sense of wonder his entire life.

The message
Sagan designed the Pioneer plaque in 1972, the first physical message humanity sent into space. In 1977 he put together the Voyager Golden Record, a gold-coated disk with music, sounds from Earth, and greetings in 55 languages. He died on December 20, 1996, from pneumonia, after a long fight with myelodysplasia. He was 62. Both Voyager probes, carrying his records, are still flying beyond the solar system.
