On November 30, 2013, Paul Walker attended a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide, raising money for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. After the event, he got into a red Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas. At 3:30 PM, the car crashed into a concrete lamp post and two trees on Hercules Street in Valencia. Both men died. Walker was forty years old. 'Furious 7' was still in production. His brothers Cody and Caleb served as stand-ins to complete his scenes. The film ends with Brian O'Conner driving away on a sunlit road. It earned $1.5 billion worldwide.
