Room 302 at Seiwa Hospital
Since 1977, Kusama has lived voluntarily in a psychiatric hospital in Tokyo. Every morning she walks across the street to her studio and paints until evening, then returns. She is over 95 years old. In 2014 she became the world's top-selling living female artist. Her Infinity Mirror Rooms draw millions of visitors. She still produces new work daily from Room 302. The woman who was once forgotten by the art world now has permanent collections in over 50 museums worldwide.
